Wednesday Photos and Training

Glorious fall afternoon today - after four or five straight days of rain we all needed to get out. I brought the camera with me to the field this afternoon hoping to get some action shots of Murphy. Murphy (mostly retired) did agility for me - but never loved it the way that Teller does. So at four Murphy was retired. Now seven and a half, he is still (knock on wood) sound and flexible - but really would prefer not to work for a living. So especially this summer I've focused my training and work schedules on Kipling and Teller, letting Murphy's one on one time focus on walks, solo rides in the car on errands, the creemee stand for some ice cream and the like. This has worked for Murphy, he does not seem to miss working - I am consistently amazed that no matter how long it's been since his last session he just remembers his jobs, even nailing his weave entry.

In his old age Murphy has stopped jumping the height of the uprights.

Go Murphy!

And some Woo/Moo shots:

Kipling and his FAVORITE toy "Ralphie"

I'm loving seeing the pics you're taking with the new camera! Great to see Murphy enjoying some fun in the agility equipment. Kipling is so handsome, as are his dad and uncle. Hugs to them all.
