A few more shots with the new Kodak z981 (the first two attempts
here and
here). First a bit of a grumble - I last used the camera on Tuesday - and had previously fully charged the batteries. When I turned on the camera this afternoon the rechargeable batteries (all 4 of them) were dead, but with AA form-factor batteries I was able to pull some batteries out of my emergency kit and continue on...I expect my cameras to be able to be in stand-by for a few days without completely discharging the batteries - particularly brand new batteries....
So off we went - I found this place last week and decided I had to get back here with the dogs and a camera...There's normally a waterfall in the background - which wasn't running today (more on that in a moment)...

Seconds after this was taken Murph decided he was bored with photography and jumped in the pond. Yeah - EWWWWW! Kodak z981 |
Overall, I think I'm liking the Kodak - still more to play with - but shooting in the raw makes a HUGE difference - and I'm a sucker for the warm quality of the Kodak images and....Murph came home and had a bath.
