Learning to settle...

Into each puppy some settle must come. Teller is now 18 weeks old - gosh, where does the time go? Teller has been an active puppy - he has a strong sense of what he thinks is and isn't fair - what is not fair is worthy of a puppy protest. This is nails, this is confinement and this goes ditto for over-tired puppy who can't settle on his own. We've upped the nothing in life is free, Teller has spent a great deal of time tethered to my hip. I'm relieved to say that for the first time in his young life we came home after training, played in the backyard and both boys settled nicely, quietly...no over the top tired play bities, no uncoordinated puppy wrestling, no woobie gutting - just tired, controlled and settled puppy on the floor.

I love it!
